I've been slacking!
I know, it has been way too long since I posted on my blog.
But I have been busy, and doing some unusual things. Steve and I made a quick to Salt Lake a few weeks ago to take Travis his new debit card before he left for Sacramento. We probably could have mailed it, and hope we could coordinate activating it, but a quick trip to Salt Lake sounded fun! Of course we didn't get to see Travis, but we did go to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir Broadcast and visited temple square.
Then Jason and I got to make a quick trip to San Antonio. I haven't downloaded any of the pictures from there, but I think Jason has put some on his facebook page. We had a great time on the RiverWalk, and then the Boating along the Riverwalk. I could go back and spend hours.
We also visited the Alamo, and that was interesting and beautiful both. I'll have to go back again some time when we have more time to really see the area.
I have been busy at work and with my Primary calling. I have helped at several cub scout events, and have a few more before the month is over.
Now for the bad news. I had my yearly MRI that showed a couple of new lesions. This led the doctor to run a blood test to check for antibodies to the medicine I'm on (my once a month infusion called Tysabri). Those test results came back this week, and I have developed the antibodies, making that medicine useless for me. So, I'll be changing medicines once again, and now I'll be doing a daily shot. For those of you who are counting, that is 365 injections a year! Can you tell I'm thrilled? Good thing Steve likes giving them to me. They don't really hurt, it is more just a psychological thing for me. But I guess I'll be glad that there is a medicine, and hope that I don't have problems with this one, because I've run out of options.
I'll post some newer photos of the grandbabies, but they are still a few weeks old.
